Why i write…

“Whoever speaks, is to do so as one who is speaking the utterances of God; whoever serves is to do so as one who is serving by the strength which God supplies; so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belongs the glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 4:11

To Glorify God. Magnify Christ. Edify the Brethren.

“My heart overflows with a good theme; I address my verses to the King; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.” (Psalm 45:1)  I write to share and herald the good news!

I pray this blog can be used as a way to sow what I know–God’s Word! I can no longer hold this in–God is changing EVERYTHING about me and I desire to share what a transformed life in Jesus Christ is like…it’s not a perfect life but a life full of grace with convictions by His Holy Spirit as I love,worship and obey God. My new life is an ‘intentional life of a disciple of Jesus Christ.’

I come as a witness to testify about the Light.  After many years of other people sowing in my life, my eyes went open on February 12, 2009 in the privacy of my home reading God’s breathed Word in Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Matthew 22:37-40, and 1 Corinthians 13. God, through the power of His Holy Spirit showed me His great holiness and my detrimental sinfulness. He showed me for the first time that I am separated from Him, and I will never be able to “perfect” or meet His standards. This was the first time I saw my need for Jesus Christ.

I finally understood, it is only through His sacrifice and resurrection could I be made clean and brought near to God. Since then, God sanctifies me and continues to use His Holy Spirit to show me that I am still in NEED of His grace and mercies EVERY SINGLE DAY.  The one thing that has transformed me most and continues to challenge me is the very Gospel that saved me. It is because of the Gospel I write.

As best said in Jeremiah 20:9,”But if I say, “I will not remember Him Or speak anymore in His name,” Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire shut up in my bones; And I am weary of holding it in, And I cannot endure it.” I love God the Father Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit and I must share what I have been entrusted with others, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes…” Romans 1:16
