Transformation

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” 2 Corinthians 5:17

Are you similar to a caterpillar or a butterfly?

Caterpillars and butterflies intrigue me because of the miraculous transformation that takes place. The insect begins as an egg and becomes a crawling caterpillar which does what it is designed to do: consume and grow.  The caterpillar consumes, consumes and grows until one day it attaches itself to a leaf and begins to form a chrysalis where it will stay until it emerges as a butterfly.

Do you realize once a caterpillar is in the chrysalis all of it’s organs liquify and days later it emerges as a new creature–everything that it once was is no longer?! Like the caterpillar to the butterfly I have been transformed and I am a new creature!

I have shared on this blog a testimony of my encounter with God~the day I ‘breathed my last‘ and was born again.  That was three years ago.

When someone truly encounters God and knows Him intimately you can see a difference.  There will be authentic fruit revealing a true change of heart (repentance); A transformation happens…God gives us a heart to know and love Him, ears to hear, eyes to see and puts His Spirit in us telling us the way we should walk.  This is where I will share about the beginning of my transformation~the person I used to be and the new life God has given me through Jesus Christ. God is changing everything about me:

*As a wife

*As a mother

*As a daughter

*As a granddaughter

*As a friend

*My marriage

As a steward

Those that are not hyperlinked yet are the ones I am currently in prayer about and will post at the appointed time stay tuned}

“But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18

“In reply Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.” John 3:3

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.” Romans 6:4
